Christmas Eve this Christmas eve three Buddhist monks go trudging over the frozen snow

in the darkness of starless night

towards a Catholic church for the candle lit midnight mass each monk bearing no gift but for a rosary in his hand as their own temple is bleak and the dozing Buddha doesn't give a damn
